AN EVALUATION OF TRAINING FOR LEATHER INDUSTRIES AS A MEASUREMENT OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Abstract

This research aims to know customer satisfaction by making evaluation towards some training for leather industries held by International Shoe Competence Center (ISC) Pirmasens, Germany. To collect the primary data this research employs some techniques, i.e. interview, questionnaires, and direct observation techniques, and to gain the secondary data, this research uses documentation technique; and to analyze the data, this research employs descriptive method.

Results of this research show 100% or all respondents said that the instructors and contents of the training provided by ISC were good and very good, or they were satisfied and very satisfied with the instructors chosen and with the contents presented. In training organization, including schedule, location and meals, around 90% respondents said that it was good and very good. In general, 100% respondents said that the training provided and organized by ISC Pirmasens was good and very good, or respondents were satisfied and very satisfied with the training joined and were willing to recommend it to their friends, relatives, and colleagues.
